The Pavillon des Petits Jeux comes out of luna park installed in the rotunda of Place Royale since the beginning of the 20th century, bur which will have its hour of glory in the 30s and 50s. The name suggests that the pavilion might once be used for gambling .The legend of old postcards also speak as “ Salon de Conversation” and “ Etablissement de Lecture”( Chat Room and Reading Room). After a while the iron fences around the buiding were removed . Postcards from that period show the words “ Petits Jeux “ ( Little games) in large letters above the entrance. There are postcards with the legend “ Cercle des Petits Jeux” and “ Kursaal” At the pavillon were played mechanical games. The game was similar to the Petits Chevaux game ( round table) , but in a rectangular table with 6 paralel tracks with flags not horses .Free public access and very weak issues. The tokens (low value) should be used in the 1950s/1960s. Games should be end on the 1970´s. Between 1982 and 2012 , after restoration , the Tourist Office of the city of Spa was accommodated in the building.
